
While Central Texas barbecue is the stuff of legends, Kareem at KG has found a way to spectacularly do something new: Egyptian-Texan barbecue. The old standards here are perfect but beyond that: pomegranate & za’tar glazed pork ribs; smoked kofta; sumac & cinnamon smoked lamb shoulder; incredible bbq saffron rice bowls. It’s a gem.
