Raw Tools South

Incredible organization—funded by melting guns down into gardening tools & other memento's that are sold online—doing the brave work of confronting gun violence in communities across the South.

With a focus on “disarming hearts”, they host & facilitate difficult community conversations between gun owners and activists, provide training on non violence, and give people an opportunity to surrender their guns and turn them into something else.

They also perform beautiful “rite of transformation” ceremonies for the family members of those lost to gun violence, where they can melt down the gun and hammer it into something new.
