beacon hill books mug

On a particularly sad weekend, I wandered into Beacon Hill books in Boston and walked out with this very charming mug, featuring their mascot, Page the squirrel, and made by Nantucket artist Jean Van Etten.

Most of my mugs are of the more minimalist earthenware variety. This feels like the mug that six year old me would have designed for adult me and that’s important.
